The strength of this 36 x 36 inch High Temperature 5.5 oz Needle Punched Kevlar Felt comes from its ring-like molecular structure and the way the fibers are tightly knit together. Kevlar needle felt is made from 100% para-aramid synthetic fibers and provides excellent cut, abrasion and heat resistance. Because of its characteristics, this material is most commonly used when cut, puncture and heat resistance is of high importance. It has many protective clothing applications and also offers other unique applications for sports equipment, musical instruments and audio equipment. This product can withstand a maximum temperature of 600 degrees Fahrenheit.
