"anan" started as a fashion magazine. In the early days of its founding in the 1970s, it conveyed the latest overseas fashion information and hairstyles, and from the 1980s onwards, it conveyed seasonal trends to readers. Also, from the late 1980s, a project in which celebrities had their hair cut and changed their image in "anan" became a boom. "anan" has proposed to readers the desire to "want to be beautiful" through fashion, hairstyles, etc. However, after the collapse of the bubble, features in "anan" that focused on one's inner self were supported, and the number of women who wanted to change not only their appearance but also their inner selves increased, and that trend continued into the 2000s. In 2004, "anan" No. 1400 featured a special issue titled "The Recommendation of Personality Transformation." Answers to the simple question of "What is personality?" and tips for personality transformation by experts are proposed.

This time, we picked up the interview page of Yuko Takeuchi from the same special issue. Yuko Takeuchi, who is active in the entertainment industry, introduces her experiences of changing her personality and mindset, and the episodes that improved as a result.
