- A peel and stick tape with stronger adhesive and reinforcing filaments running bidirectionally through the material, adding increased tear resistance while not negatively affecting ease of installation.
- It is typically used alongside our Reinforced Shrink Wrap, this peel and stick Reinforced Shrink Wrap Tape has a very tacky adhesive which sticks even better than standard shrink wrap tape. The use of an industrial style hot air blower is one recommended method improving bonding strength.
- On top of the stronger adhesive, the material of the tape is reinforced. Reinforcing filaments run bidirectionally through the material, adding increased tear resistance while not negatively affecting ease of installation.
- The surface to be taped should be clean and dry. Accumulations of dust should be removed to ensure a secure bond. The tape will adhere much better to clean surfaces.
- The tape should be above 50° - 60°F to insure an acceptable bond. In order to obtain a bond at lower temperatures, external heat may be required. Extra care should be taken when attempting to install tape at temperatures below 32°F.
